The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) recently issued an international call for bids for the design and construction of ministerial buildings, government offices, restoration of buildings and construction of the METROBUS station, with an investment of US$93 million. 93 million.

Interested parties may make inquiries until November 10, and the submission and opening of bids is scheduled for December 1 of this year. It is estimated that the works will begin in the first quarter of 2017 and will be completed in 30 months. The call for bids is already available on the portal of the Public Procurement Department.

This project is financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). The main initiative of the project is the development of a new pole within the framework of the reconversion of the historic center of the city of Asunción.
