Since last August 1, the National Office of Public Procurement (DNCP by its acronym in Spanish) initiated a restructuring process and implemented the use of the digital signature and standardization of documents to issue resolutions in order to avoid the use of paper and increase the transparency of the process.
With these measures, the institution seeks to ease the writing of the documentation, as well as the understanding of them by the users of the DNCP. In addition, the digital signature guarantees the integrity of the document through the encryption of its content. In the case of modifications made after the digital signature, the document issues the pertinent alert.
Likewise, it is possible to verify the authenticity of the digitally signed resolutions by accessing the guides provided by eFirma, the certification entity, on its website https://bit.ly/2Yk6vow.
This first stage includes summary resolutions, agreements, investigations, reconsiderations and protests. The DNCP plans to extend this restructuring to other types of resolutions.
