{"id":5976,"date":"2017-07-27T17:16:00","date_gmt":"2017-07-27T21:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vouga.com.py\/?p=5976"},"modified":"2024-11-27T17:16:55","modified_gmt":"2024-11-27T21:16:55","slug":"se-sanciona-nueva-ley-de-mercado-de-valores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vouga.com.py\/en\/se-sanciona-nueva-ley-de-mercado-de-valores\/","title":{"rendered":"A new Capital Markets Law is enacted"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Official Gazette of the Republic of Paraguay recently published the new Securities Market Law No. 5,810\/17. Said Law regulates the public offering of securities and their issuances, public offering securities, stock exchanges, brokerage firms, and in general, other participants in the securities market, as well as the National Securities Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is worth mentioning that this regulation does not apply to issues made by the Executive Power through the Ministry of Finance or by the Central Bank of Paraguay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new law maintains in force the articles of the Civil Code and of Law No. 1163\/97 \u201cRegulating the Establishment of Commodities Exchanges\u201d that do not contradict the recently enacted law.
